(Full Day Course)
Certified by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), this brand new qualification will provide your employees with fundamental health and safety knowledge. Based on the extremely successful CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace, it has been completely revised with new and updated content and is complimented by the second edition of the Health and Safety First Principles course book.

Waste Awareness Cost: £105
(Full Day Course)
Certified by the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM). This training course is an introduction into waste management and will provide the delegate with the principles and knowledge to improve waste management practices within their organisation. The main sections of the training are for the delegate to understand what is waste, how to reduce waste and understand the legal requirements related to waste disposal.

Practical Environmental Management Cost: £575
(4 Day Course)
This training programme aims to improve your business performance by raising environmental awareness and competence through a combined package of training and on-site support. The course is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

Progress is monitored by a combination of an environmental information portfolio for your organisation and a final examination.

Delegates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and competence to implement environmental improvement programmes within their workplace.

CIEH Environmental Awareness Cost: £110
(Full Day Course)
The need for businesses to address environmental issues has never been greater. Tendering requirements, changing needs of lenders and investors and increasing legislation are forcing businesses to address their environmental performance. This qualification has been designed for middle managers and supervisors who have responsibility for decision-making, managing budgets, allocating tasks and meeting performance targets. It will also enable them to take corrective action and be confident dealing with environmental issues and customer queries.

* Groundwork Merseyside’s time to deliver and administer the certified training courses is provided free of charge to SME’s on Merseyside. However, certification is charged by the examining body at £25.00 per person.
