Every year the construction industry produces approximately 1.45 tonnes of waste for every person living in the UK.
To help tackle the issue of site waste, Defra has introduced SWMPs and since 6th April 2008, they have become a legal requirement in England for construction projects worth over £300,000.
Groundwork Merseyside is the local deliverer of the ENWORKS funded business support programme which is designed to deliver FREE support to Merseyside businesses to help improve their use of resources.
